Using a car rental is a fine option for many urban dwellers instead of buying a car - I would like to discuss why this option may appear seem expensive, but really after some valid thoughts it's actually a very good option for people living in cities. Many people living in large cities find car rental much more affordable and much less hassle than buying a car, using the rental on an as-needed basis.Although the monthly payment of a purchased Prestige car can be about the same as two weeks of a car rental, a rental is rarely needed more than a couple of days here and there. Also, a rental does not need to be parked every day of the month, which in some areas of certain cities can be a real challenge. It is important to note that a rental in the UK includes insurance. This is something you will have to pay on a yearly basis for a purchased car. Considering overall cost of these options, a rental is all-inclusive in terms of cost.
For variety, a rental gives you the flexibility to get a different rental for different uses. You might want an Aston Martin for that special occasion, birthday, anniversary or an alternative gift idea to a loved one. Or you may want a Ferrari hire, Lamborghini hire or just something different for that trip. For the more executive occasion, a Range Rover Sport or BMW model may be more appropriate for your function and possibly your budget.
Then there's the depreciation factor of a vehicle, another hassle for only the rental company and not the hirer.
For the cost, the hassle factor, the convenience and the flexibility, a rental in certain circumstances can be a preferred option to purchasing a car.
